Analysing Horror Film Posters - Introduction

I am going to look at a number of posters belonging to the horror genre in order to understand better how this genre manifests itself in posters, or how the general conventions of posters I have already identified are shaped/influenced by genre. 

This will be useful for me, in order to create as realistic a poster for my film as possible; one that resembles, and is recognisable to, the horror genre. 

The posters I am going to analyse from the horror genre are for the following films:

'The Witch'

'Enys Men'
