Script For My Teacher's Voiceover/Narration/Dialogue

During the theatrical trailer I want my teacher character to be telling the students off in detention and for the audience to see each character's reaction as the teacher speaks. 

Here is the script for my teacher which will be recorded in camera but also as a separate audio monologue to give me some more options when I decide how I want to edit the trailer.

Teacher Script

"You know what frustrates me most? It’s not that you’re here — it’s why you’re here.

Every one of you has potential, real, honest potential, but you treat it like it’s worthless.

You think detention is just another wasted afternoon, don’t you? Well, it’s not the hours you’re wasting — it’s yourselves.

You keep circling the same mistakes, laughing them off, as if it’s all some joke.

But the truth is, every choice you make builds the person you’ll become.

And if you keep throwing it away like this, one day you’ll look back and realize you could’ve been so much more.

Don’t waste your lives on trying to impress people who won’t matter a year from now. Start proving you matter — to yourselves.

Go on. Get out of here. And don’t let me see you again."
